This is remarkably well done, I really like it.These carry such an powerful message. When you see an old person you just think ‘oh, and old man or woman. Ugh, they’re so boring.’ These people are much more than what you see. They’ve had lives, they’ve done and accomplished many, many things. They’re not just some ‘old person’.
Very impressive concept. Now this is photography!
I love reblogging this when ever it shows up.
The nurse one really got to me…
when I’m old I’ll look in the mirror and see myself in cosplay.
sometimes I forget that old people were once young. this is wonderful.
This really gets to me. My granddad used to be a boss over several stores and was looked up to by so many people. But when he got older he was just seen as another old person that wasn’t worth anyone’s time. I find it so sad that so many elderly people have to deal with that. Just a smile to show that you’ve taken notice of them can make a huge difference.
After my granddad died my dad found a note in which he’d written about how he’d been going around town all day to shops, etc. and the only on who noticed him all day was a little baby who smiled at him on the bus. Doesn’t that just break your heart?
Everything runs off the same energy system. Really Powerful image set.
